"Help With Incredimail And Outlook Express Letters"!
All Stationery On My Site Was Made By Howards-Place
And All Letters Are Available In Incredimail Format!
Most Of Them Are Also Available In Outlook Express Format
(IMF) And (EML) E-Mail Format!

(IMF) Letters Are Incredimail Letters And (EML) Letters Are
Outlook Express Letters and Window Mail Letters
(EML) Letters Can Be Used In Incredimail Or In Outlook Express!

The Main Difference Between The (IMF) And (EML) Letters On
My Site Is That Top Boarder Letters Will Show A Row Of Images
At The Top In (EML) Format, Instead Of The One Image That
Shows In (IMF) Format!

"Page Layout And Links For Downloading Letters"!
Most Pages With Letters Are Laid Out In The Same Way.
There Is A "Thumbnail" Image Of The Letter With The Name
Of The Letter And The Name Of The Font Used To Create The Letter
Typed On The Thumbnail.

The "First" Link Under The Letter Is The Link For Downloading
The (IMF) Version Of The Letter.
Left Click Once On The Text Link And The Letter Will
Automatically Download And Install Into Incredimail
If You Don't Have Incredimail You Can Download It Here "FREE"

Incredimail Will Make A File Called "Howards-Place"
And This Is Were You'll Find The Letters You've Downloaded From My Site!

The "Second" Text Link Is For Downloading The (EML) Version
Of The Letter.
"RIGHT CLICK" On The Text Link And Select
"SAVE TARGET AS"
In The Box That Pops Up, Use Your Mouse Arrow
(After Where It Says "SAVE IN")
To Locate Either Your Desktop Or The File You Want To Save The Letter In!
Then Click The "Save" Button And Let The Letter Download
To The Destination You Prefer!
If You Save The Letters To Your Desktop You Can
Move Them To A Folder Of Your Choice Later!

"(EML)  HELP"
For "Outlook Express" And "Windows Mail"
To Open And Send My EML Letters!
After You Save Your Letter To Your Desk Top , Right Click On The
White Envelope And Select Open Or Double Left Click On It And It
Will Open In "Outlook Express" If You Have "Windows XP"
If You Have "Windows Vista" It Will Open In "Window Mail"
Once You Have The Opened Letter In Your E-Mail Program
1.Click Once In Front Of The Red Arrow To Start Typing Your Letter!
2.Select The Font You Want To Use!
3.Select The Font Size!
4.Select The Font Color!
5.Type At Least One Word Then Remove the Message Along With The
Red Arrow, Remove By Using Your Backspace Key On Your Keyboard
Click At The End Of The Message And Backspace Until You Come To The End
Of The First Word You Typed!
6.Then Just Continue Typing Your Letter!
7.When Your Letter Is Completed, Select A "Subject" And Your Friends
E-Mail Address At The Top Of Your Letter!
Then Just Click "Send" Have Fun!!!
 
The Main Advantage To (EML) Letters Is They Can Be
Used In Outlook Express And Most Can Be Converted To
Outlook Express Stationery!


"PLEASE NOTE"

If  You Have Incredimail Installed On Your Computer, And
You Want (EML) Letters Automatically Open In Incredimail
You Need To Open The Program And In The Main Window Go To
"TOOLS">"OPTIONS". CLICK THE TAB THAT SAYS
"ADVANCED" And "UNCHECK">"ASSOCIATE. EML FILES WITH...."
Having This Box Checked Makes (EML) Letters Automatically Open In
"INCREDIMAIL" (Put A Check Mark In The Box)!

If You've Had Incredimail On Your Computer And You "DELETED IT"
You'll Most Likely Get A Window Pop Up Asking What Program Do You
Want To Open This Type Of File In?
Scroll Until You Find "OUTLOOK EXPRESS" And Check The
Always Open Option!

(EML) BASICS
          
      Windows XP         Windows Vista
  Outlook Express       Windows Mail
After You download An (EML) Letter It Will, By Default,
Look Like The Envelope In The Above Image!
When You Click On An (EML) Letter, Your "Outlook Express"
E-Mail Program Window Will Open With The Letter You've Clicked
On Ready To Be Sent As A New Message!

Things You Can Do With (EML) Letters!
You Can Change The First Part Of The Name Of Any Letter,
Just Be Careful To "LEAVE" The .(EML) Ending!
As Long As The New Name Ends With .Eml You Can Name It
Anything You Wish.
(Example: Original Letter Is BlueBirds2.eml You Can Change It
To My.BlueBird5.eml )
You Can Move These Letters Anywhere On Your Computer
And Still Use Them.
They Will "NOT" Howerver Show In The Preview Window Of
"OUTLOOK EXPRESS" Unless You Convert Them To Regular
"Outlook Express Stationery"

"Converting Basic (EML) Letters To "Outlook Express Stationery"
You Can Convert BASIC Letters, Like MOST Of Those Available At
Howards-Place.Com , Into Regular "Outlook Express" Stationary.
"RULE OF THUMB"
A Good Rule Of Thumb Is To Use The Converted Stationary
In Outlook Express First To Make Sure It Works Right
Before You Delete Your Original (EML) Letter!

To Convert (EML) Letters To Outlook Express Stationary!
Click On File Then Click "Save As Stationary"
WARNING!! This (Saving As Stationary) Will NOT
Work For More Complex Letters That You May Downloaded
From Other Sites!
It Is Safe To Convert MOST Of My Letters Available On Howards-Place
To Outlook Express< With The Exception Of Some Of The Animated
Letters That Have Solid Color Backgrounds!

If You "Opt" To Convert Basic (EML) Letters You Will Still Have
The Originals Plus The New Stationery That's Stored With The Rest
Of Your Regular Outlook Express Stationery.
(Which Is In Program Files>Common>Microsoft Shared>Stationery)
Again, It Is Best To Test The Letters Using Them
As Outlook Express Stationery Before Deleting The Original (EML) Letter!!

Once Converted You Can Use The Stationery By Either Clicking
The Arrow On Your Inbox Between "CREATE MAIL" And "REPLY"
And "SELECT STATIONERY" Or Using An Open Message, And Clicking
"FORMAT" And Then "APPLY  STATIONERY"
"MAKE SURE THERE IS A CHECK BY THE PREVIEW BOX SO
YOU CAN SEE THE STATIONERY BEFORE USING IT"
